The Scotland Act 2016 will devolve a number of social security powers to the Scottish Parliament. This includes powers over several benefits, including Carers Allowance and Disability Benefits.
They are currently consulting on how they will develop a new social security system for Scotland and on their plans for reforming the benefits that have been devolved to Scotland.
